The Holiday Season Is Off And Running!
Which means it’s time for holiday light displays around Columbus: Twinkling, sparkling, colorful, holiday lights!
Luckily, there is no shortage of illuminated displays around Columbus to help us get through a much different holiday season this year. Due to COVID-19, some of these displays may have unexpected changes. Be sure to check with each display before heading out. Be sure to wear a mask, use good hand hygiene, and practice physical distancing when around others.
Flying Horse Farms “Light Up Camp” drive-through event
Flying Horse Farms in Mt. Gilead will “flip the switch” on “Light Up Camp” Thanksgiving Day and will be open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening through Sunday, December 27, including Christmas Eve and Christmas.
Inniswood Illuminated at Inniswood Metro Gardens
December 1 – January 10, 2020 from dusk to 8 pm.
Butch Bando’s Fantasy of Lights
This drive-thru holiday light experience is back again. Butch Bando’s Fantasy of Lights will cover Alum Creek State Park with LED lights. The cost of the event varies by vehicle.
Easton Town Center Grand Illumination
Easton is beautiful during the holidays! From the giant tree to the train display, and the lights strung up everywhere! Walk around, or take a horse drawn carriage ride check out the holiday lights of Easton – it’s beautiful during the season.
Wildlights at the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium
Wildlights at the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium is one of the most well-loved holiday traditions here in Central Ohio. Regular Zoo admission prices apply and all guests over 10 and medically able are required to wear a mask.
Lights at the Scioto Mile
November 25 through January 3. Downtown Columbus with be lit with more than 200,000 lights for the Holiday Light Display. This spectacular display will span Columbus Commons, the Lazarus Building and along the Scioto Mile.
Village of Obetz Trail of Lights
Saturday, December 5, 2020 from 6-8 pm. Free, socially distanced Christmas lights drive through display to kick off the holiday season.
Columbus Commons Holiday Lights
Presented by AEP, more than 400,000 lights sparkle in the park, every night. The lights are free. Downtown Columbus at the John F. Wolfe Columbus Commons.
Lights of Glenross
Thanksgiving – January 1, 2021. Glenross subdivision in Delaware and has around 250 houses with light displays choreographed to Christmas music played on 94.1FM. The displays will run from 5-9pm Sunday-Thursday and 5-11pm Friday & Saturday.
Pickerington 21 Days of Lights
December 11-31, 2020. Make some memories with the kids! Load the family in the car and enjoy all the holiday lights as you drive around the historic Pickerington Village. No need to worry about social distancing with this event.
Franklin Park Conservatory Aglow
Enjoy one of central Ohio’s most beautiful holiday shows at Conservatory Aglow! Travel through a glow of bedazzling light displays during this horticultural holiday tradition. Regular admission rates apply and tickets must be purchased in advance.
Dazzling Christmas Lights in Westerville’s Annehurst neighborhood
Thanksgiving through December. Display features 100,000 Christmas Lights that dance to music. The show is every night (weather permitting).
The Lucy Depp Park Light Show
This drive-thru Christmas light experience features 6 houses over 7.5 acres. The show runs from Black Friday to the first week of January, dusk until 10pm Sun-Thurs and until 11 on Friday and Saturday. In order to manage traffic, there is a loop to drive.
State Auto’s Christmas Corner
State Auto’s Christmas Corner, including its historic life-sized Nativity display, returns to 518 E. Broad St. in December. This year, there won’t be any live performances due to COVID-19. Visitors are asked to wear face coverings and practice proper physical distancing when viewing the display.
Sawmill Meadows Lights
This is just one house, but they DO IT UP for Christmas (and Halloween)! They’ve been featured on news stations for their decorations.
Fields Family Christmas Lights
This annual Christmas Light show combines sequencing the lights to some favorite Christmas songs. They are also a drop off location for the annual Toy Drive for the Violet Township Fire Department.
Holiday Lights Drive-thru at Coffman Park Night
Drive thru Coffman Park and see displays with over 40,000 LED lights throughout the park, as well as the City’s 30 foot illuminated Christmas tree. Coffman Park Drive will be lit each evening from December 4 through January 3, 2021.
