Colonial House
It’s a common-enough house design that features a pitched roof and an overall symmetrical facade. Colonial houses often have two stories and multipaned windows paired with wooden exterior shutters. When viewed from a distance, they’re shaped like a long rectangle (minus the roof).
Colonial architecture is very traditional, so you need shingles that are just as classic looking. Here’s what we suggest:

These shingle products look best in dark colors like grays and blacks. For Camelot shingles, we suggest getting them in Antique Slate, Aged Oak, Welsh Gray, or Sheffield Black. Slateline shingles are available in brighter colors like Emerald Green, Mariner Blue, and Victorian Red. But we think they look their finest in more muted tones like English Gray and Weathered Slate.
