At Muth & Company Roofing, we have always considered charitable giving to be part of our company mission. Our local community supports our business, and helping local non-profit organizations is a small way for us to show our appreciation! That’s why we’ve designated November and December as “Give Where You Live Month,” and remind our neighbors to keep their holiday giving local.
“Giving where you live” helps local individuals, local families, local animals, local volunteers, local businesses and the local economy. In short, it makes our community a better place for each of us to live and work! Here are a few organizations that are near and dear to our hearts. We invite you to find out more about these great causes and consider giving them your support!
- Habitat for Humanity MidOhio. Habitat MidOhio helps families living in central Ohio break the cycle of poverty through new home construction and home repairs. The program is designed to be a hand up, not a hand out, to families in need.
- WARM (Westerville Area Resource Ministry). WARM provides compassionate, short-term assistance, food, educational services, employment services and spiritual support in order to encourage individuals to achieve a God-reliant, self-sufficient life while restoring dignity and hope.
- The Humane Society of Delaware County. HSDC is committed to connecting people and animals through education, community outreach and the prevention of cruelty. The organization works to reduce pet overpopulation with spay/neuter clinics, and promotes wellness with vaccine clinics and humane outreach services.
- PetPromise. PetPromise of Columbus is dedicated to creating a world where there are no more homeless pets through education, rescue, sterilization and adoption. Volunteers care for pets in foster homes until they are adopted.
- SidebySide Outreach. SidebySide Outreach is a partnership of churches and community organizations in Galena and Harlem Township. SidebySide works throughout the year to aid those in need within the community with food, school supplies, children’s clothes and shoes, and other emergency assistance.
